Suppliers are a crucial element in improving competitiveness: the sourced components are a key factor in terms of the quality and cost of the end product, and therefore also the satisfaction of consumer needs.
OMG works with a continuous improvement approach (WCM).
The assessment and selection of the suppliers are carried out using homogeneous methodologies, based on objective and quantifiable parameters.

To establish relationships with suppliers who offer the best capabilities in terms of innovation, time to market, costs, service and quality ("zero defects" objective).
To concentrate purchases on a limited number of first-rate suppliers.
To involve suppliers in its Environmental Management System to reduce the environmental impact of all the work carried out in its industrial sites.
To deal exclusively with suppliers in possession of Quality System certifications according to Automotive standards issued by an accredited certification body.
To give preference to suppliers who have a certified Environmental Management System (ISO 14000 certification).
